Psychotherapy FAQs
What is your fee and how does payment work?
Therapy sessions are $240 per session. I accept credit cards, cash, checks, and health savings account debit cards. I keep a credit card on file and charge it at the end of the session unless another payment method is used. Payment is expected at the end of each appointment.
Are your fees reimbursable by insurance?
Yes. I am an out-of-network provider.
If you have out-of-network coverage or an FSA/HSA account through your employer, a portion of my services are typically reimbursable once you've met your annual out-of-network deductible. I provide you with a form at the end of each month that you can submit for out-of-network benefits through your insurance company. I recommend checking with your insurer and asking about copay and deductible information specific to your policy.
What type of services do you offer?
I am a licensed clinical psychologist offering telehealth psychotherapy for adults and adolescents. As a credentialed member of Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), I am able to provide therapy services to individuals in all 39 participating states. If you live within the United States, please inquire here about your eligibility to work with me as PSYPACT allows me to treat clients in many jurisdictions around the country.
What therapy modality do you use in your practice?
I use evidenced based cognitive-behavioral therapy informed by mindfulness and acceptance therapies.
What issues do you provide treatment for?
I treat most issues that present in day to day life, with a specialization in working with teens and adults.
